Business Partnerships
Circle2Success
The Dean Close Foundation is a corporate member of C2S, a business networking organisation operating in four areas in our local region: Gloucestershire, Bristol and Bath, Worcestershire and Swindon and Wiltshire. Events are held for those involved in Strategic Leadership, HR, and Finance, as well as Tech and Cyber, and Manufacturing, and our involvement not only enables us to reflect on our own business practices but also gives the opportunity to bring educational experience to the world of business.
Gloucester Rugby
The School’s Rugby Academy is directed by Andrew Stanley and is designed in line with the RFU Premiership Academies to maximise and develop talent through the following areas:
- Technical: skill development
- Tactical: game understanding – position and unit specific
- Physical: conditioning, nutrition, rehabilitation, injury prevention
- Psychological: mental preparation, anxiety control
The programme is committed to one-to-one mentoring, which is supported by guest coaches and current professional players, providing up-to-date expert guidance. The School has a strong relationship with Gloucester Rugby and Worcester Warriors Academy with coaches coming in on a regular basis to coach on an individual and group basis.
