Clay Days
Clay Days aims to provide an environment for children aged 7 – 13 to unleash their creativity through the medium of clay during the school holidays. Children will be taught how to hand build creations from clay step by step by a passionate member of DCPS. Children will choose from a selection of fun projects fostering creativity and skill building.
Projects are suitable for children at all skill levels and are aimed at building confidence through creativity. Workshops will be delivered by Art Technician, Helen McWilliam-Clune who runs popular Clay Clubs, Clay Play schemes and 5 Time Enrichment activities at DCPS. Completed projects will be fired and gloss varnished after the workshops and ready for collection from Dean Close House after approximately 4 weeks.
